Pendle Summit
Autumn Colours
It's the first day of November and accompanied by a warmth more likely to belong to early September, Molly and I set off for an early Sunday walk up Lancashire's Favourite Fell.
The Track
It's shorts and t-shirt for me as the sun shines above valley mists.

Pendle 50
This is our 50th ascent of Pendle Hill in 2015. Boring? Err I'd say no. Each occasion takes us out of the house for at least 2hrs and generally brings great views, clean air and plenty of exercise. We have no other comparable hill in the immediate vicinity...

Ribble Valley Mists
The road to Downham crosses the bridge; more Autumn colours.
Molly The Collie
Did you see the moon? And the sheep skull?
One hour and 50 minutes over a distance of about 2.5miles. Great place to be on this fine Autumn morning.
Later, after a walk to Wycoller, we find mist resettling in the local valleys.
