Bright sunny start to the day and the local fell catches my eye ...

Parking on the roadside for a 08:40hrs start, meeting men with cameras who had just completed their walks - they must have enjoyed the sunrise views.
Just for a change, we left the track and went straight up over some of the fragile rocks on the eastern slope.
