Walking in Grass Wood
It's Bank Holiday and a plan is needed to avoid the worst of the crowds and parking charges. If you are going to walk a circuit of Grass Wood from Grassington, then why not park for free near Grass Wood and make Grassington the mid-point of the walk?
Molly on the Wall
It's a dull day and we are trying to keep away from sheep for as long as possible. Molly's better at climbing than descending and awaits assitance.
Above Grass Wood is a rough pasture with no sheep and then after the next stile we found the wooly ones, but (as above) they blend in well with the limestone rockery our dog failed to spot them.

I hate dull days! Maybe there'll be some excitement in Grassington.
Childsplay in Grassington
We had a bite to eat (outside) at "Walkers" Bakery - always shut on Sundays, so good to try somewhere new. If you're reading this, Helen, sorry I didn't come over and say "hello".

After lunch we walked up The Wharfe and back to the parking spot by Grass Wood.
