Pendle Summit
Scroll down for photos and a description of the walk....
East Lancashire
Another late excursion to Pendle Hill, Saturday becomming the favourite day of the week for such, just now. The eastest bits of Lancashire are amoung the best in the county, come and have a look someday!
Stang Top Moor
A little sunlight on Aitken Wood, that's part of Ilkley Moor furthest away, also benefitting from late sushine.
Pendle Sunset
It's often a bit of a gamble when the sky starts to clear; this evening the cloud didn't fragment in the way that makes the sunsets really special. Not to worry, there'll be another along before too long.
Burnley
Burnley is the town in the distance beyond the stone tower on one of Pendle's cairns. Great things are happening down there!
The Top
That chap is taller than he looks in this photo.
