Pendle Hill from Newchurch-in-Pendle
I left work early and in a hurry to take advantage of day four of our very sunny spell. International airlines route their 'planes over Pendle Hill so that passengers can take a look at our favourite local landmark.

It's half-term and business is brisk at The Cabin. My start time is 15:40hrs and it's straight up onto Barley Hill.
Where Were You in January?
More sunshine today than in the whole of the Christmas and New Year "holiday".

I chose the route over Barley Hill to enjoy as much of the sunshine as possible.

The Top
Exactly one hour to get to the top and still forty minutes until the sun goes down. There is nobody else on top at this time and that's priceless!
I'll be back...first a visit to the wall...
The Wall

The Stile
