Pendle Summit
Scroll down for photos and a description of the walk....
Barley
This walk started in Barley at 18:40hrs from the main car park. It being my second attempt at a Pendle ascent on this day, the earlier one at 09:00hrs failed due to havy rain - I never left the car.
The Ogden Reservoirs
Ogden Clough
Looking down the beck from the foot of Boar Clough.
Coal Clough Wind Farm
Many miles away to the south-east. The red colours derive from workers' vehicles and cabins, they are doing something at the wind farm.
Pendle Top
The Sunset from Pendle
Being a sunsetologist, I might give this one 7/10. The later, weaker, oranger sunshine was lost behind a bank of cloud and a few clouds closer to the summit would have served to complete the picture.
