Pendle Hill from Roughlee
The skies cleared after tea and the inevitable happened, I headed off for Pendle Hill. Walk start time of 20:05hrs from the roadside.
Upper Black Moss Reservoir
The extending shadow of Pendle Hill splits the Black Moss Reservoirs, with Upper still in the sunshine.

A really fine evening for this walk. There was a group at the summit ....

I was up here last Thursday ~ sans camera ~ this almost makes up for it!
Walkers: Just Me.
Time taken: 1hr 8mins over a distance of about 2.5 miles.
Route: Roadside, up the steps, summit, down the track.
Weather and conditions: Calm and sunny.
Greetings Count: The summit group, plus another couple going up at the same time as me. I might have expected a few more.
