A really good start to the month with walks up to Steeple and Pillar and then a special trip up Great Gable. By 30th September, I have walked with the camera for 74 miles and written 12 reports.

August 2010
Just a few words about August '10. I can't remember a fine, dry August - it's generally an active weather month. Add holiday crowds to the weather issue and I usually finish August disappointed. However, this time it was not the case and the walks I enjoyed between the showers were very worthwhile. A dozen reports are included. I have quite a lot on the agenda for September, but will the weather allow me to get to the tops and take my Wainwright to-do count down to nearer 20? We'll see...
