Barley Picnic Area
This Saturday afternoon ascent of Pendle started from Barley car park at 14:10hrs.
Lower Ogden Reservoir
A washed out sky is not ideal for the camera, but after the weekend washouts of early 2104, there's not much to complain about.
A look through the cleared woodland, not available prior to the arrival of the chainsaws.
Muddy Footpaths
Looking Back ...
... down the route of my climb. There is a reason for the late start, see foot of the page.
Busy Pendle
Pendle Summit
The wall has been repaired, very neatly and my descent route is the down the steps, for the direct walk across the fields to Barley.

Walkers: Just Me.
Time taken: 1hr 40mins over a distance of about 4.5 miles.

Weather: Bright with a light wind.
Molly
is the new family addition and is taking up quite a bit of my time. The 9 week old Border Collie puppy is too young for walks and is staying at home until she has had all the vaccinations. How soon before she can go up Pendle Hill?
