Pendle at Dusk
After a week of wind of rain, I took the last opportunity to climb Pendle during the week. It's a quick up and down from the roadside.
Barrowford Reservoir
Half-way up and sunlight brightens Colne and the water is Barrowford Reservoir, supply for the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
Pendle Sunset
Unfortunately, that's as good as it gets this evening. Sunset has been brought forward by virtue of the banks of cloud way out west.
The Summit

That's at least one ascent per week during each of the last fifteen weeks. It feels to be getting more difficult keeping this up as the night's shorten and the weather misbehaves - there is little point getting up there in cloud, rain or darkness.
Walkers: Just Me
Time taken: 1hrs 1mins over a distance of about 2.5 miles.
Route: Roadside parking, up the steps, along the summit plateau and down the track.
Weather and conditions: Clear, but lacking the last ten minutes of sunshine due to coastal cloud.
Greetings Count: Two coming down as I went up and two others on top.
