Roadside Parking
At last we get a bright sunny afternoon! So in the evening it's off to watch the sun go down. Peter Ratcliffe is with me, lots of other folk have had much the same idea.
On The Steps
Well, all is not what it seems. A bank of cloud has encroached from the North-West and whilst the skies above us and to the east are clear, I can tell that something has stopped the evening sun from illuminating the towns of Nelson and Colne

It's a bit breezy up here today, there was nobody else on top at the same time of us.
Pendle Summit
Ah well, at least it's not raining.

Time taken: 1hrs 7mins over a distance of about 2.5 miiles.
Route: Roadside parking, up the steps, along the summit plateau and down the track.
Weather and conditions: Overcast and breezy on top.
Greetings Count: Plenty of walkers on the up and along the top.
