Pendle Summit
Scroll down for photos and a description of the walk....
Pendle Hill
Today's walk up Pendle Hill started at 14:00hrs from the roadside, this view on the way in gives the visitor a feel of what is on offer if they choose to take a closer look.
The Lane
Black Moss
The usual halfway photo from the steps. This snow arrived on yesterday (Thursday) morning, other Lancashire towns further west had heavy snow showers today, but our bit escaped the travel disruption etc.
Weets Hill
Mist Approaches
Close to the top of the steps and low cloud hits Pendle.

Wintry Pendle
No Views Today
You can't win 'em all. I wandered along the top for half an hour or so, waiting for the cloud to blow over, but it didn't.
Pendle Climbers
These two appeared out of the mist, the gentleman on the right is adjusting his coat zip, in case you were wondering.
Black Moss Reservoirs
Fell Wood and Lower Ogden Reservoir
Kestrel
That's No.51 out of the way. I had hoped for good views westwards, maybe next time.
