Snowy Pendle
On Wednesday 2nd March, freshly-fallen snow lies all around and the photo above is taken at lunchtime on the fields behind where we live. Unfortunately, we couldn't get up Pendle on 2nd, but some of the following photos are offered from times between the last report and this one.
River Wharfe
On Sunday 28th February, Karen and I made one of our regular trips to Grassington. This is the River Wharfe just west of Grassington - a fantastic location for walkers at any time of the year.

Cobblestones Cafe
There are loads of places in Grassington for refreshments. We visited Cobblestones and dogs are allowed in the covered, outdoor seating area at the back. Good place, recommended!

17:10hrs start for the post-work climb up Pendle Hill from the roadside. It's a calm, dull Thursday evening with a little snow left over from the previous day.
The Stile
Very little for the lens today, but plenty for the soul - just me and Molly, no wind - a calm and peaceful oasis.
The Summit
West
Molly and I up the steps and down the track - 1hr and 11 minutes.
