Number 69 in terms of Pendle ascents for 2016.

We were up here on a very windy Christmas Day morning and this opportunity has come along as much of the wind has abated, there is no prospect of rain and there might just be some mist lurking around. Start time from the roadside of 07:43hrs.

My "tablet" sits on the trig and it is talking to the camera on a tripod. I don't think I'll make a habit of this type of thing. Sunrise is due soon, officially 08:27hrs in these parts, but it could come sooner at 1831ft.

Molly is nearly 3yrs old, still playing ball well into the evening at home. These Pendle walks do little to satisfy her appetite for exercise!
