Tuesday evening and a bright sunny evening provides a fine opportunity to climb Lancashire's faourite fell.
Bright sunny conditions over Burnley in East Lancashire. Fell Wood on the near slopes above Lower Ogden Reservoir.

Bank Hall "Pit Top", Burnley
Burnley's largest coal mine closed in 1971 and the area was landscaped. The water is a canal basin from the Leeds/Liverpool Canal. The chimney belongs to Stanley Mill. The parkland is one of many in and around Burnley and is looked after by the local council.
