Pendle Summit
Better weather than the last time up here - three days ago ...
Black Moss
An afternoon of showers has passed and now with fewer of them, Karen and I decided to chance a Pendle ascent. A feint rainbow lands on Aiken Wood as we start the ascent. Start time of 16:30hrs.

Shower Cloud |
Bright sunshine on Barley; the shower cloud heads off eastwards and the shadow of Pendle is clear to see.

Pendle Top
It's Karen's first climb of PH since March last year.
Remains
On the other side of the trig to the missus are the remains of somebody or maybe a pet. I sincerely wish that folk would deposit their loved ones away from the summit. The hilltop is vast and there's room for everyone, but the summit circle is a a target for all Pendle climbers and it's not right for ashes to be "spread" just here. In my opinion!!
To The West
To The East
