Barley Hill
Parking on the roadside, start time of 18:35hrs and great promise of fine views throughout. Barley Hill is crossed by two stone walls, which show up well in the aftermath of last week's snowfall.

Pendle's shadow reaches across Black Moss; Lower Ogden has a receding water level after a comparatively dry spell.

Quite chilly, nobody about, a very fine evening to be on top of Pendle Hill.

The runners are training for an event on Saturday (I think), at first I thought they's spoilt the view, but actually they make for good silhouettes.
