Pendle from Newchurch
Just back from the flatlands of Cambridgeshire and rather keen to get back on something hilly.
Barley Car Park
Starting from a rather quiet car park at 08:35hrs, I have no clear plan and as much time as I want - this is never the case at sunset and makes quite a change.

Stile at Salt Pie Farm
I took the path between the two reservoirs and then cut across the fields to Pendle Hill from Salt Pie Farm. Recently, disaster struck at Higher Laithe Farm:

Several Days Later
Karen and I walked past here a few weeks ago and exchanged pleasantries with the (middle) homeowner. Luckily nobody was hurt in the fire which started at around 8pm one evening. All three houses are currently uninhabitable.

Looking Over Black Moss
From the summit, I took the route over the flags to Ogden Clough and then followed the path into the clough and down past the two Ogden Reservoirs.
