The Steps Route
This week's Pendle ascent started from the roadside at 17:35hrs. "Old" pal, Stephen Richardson, is with me; we used to play in the same football team. We don't play football anymore. He was the 'keeper and me, the centre-half.

It appears that we may be a day too late, yesterday offered a colouful sunset but this evening it has clouded over.

The Setting Sun
We saw the sun for about two minutes. On a positive note, the football team reunion went very well and maybe we'll get a few more of the squad along on our next trip out.

Time taken: 1hr 25mins over a distance of about 2.5 miles.
Route: Roadside, up the steps, along the top and down the track.
Weather and conditions: Overcast, but dry and calm.
