Pendle Summit
Scroll down for photos and a description of the walk....
Pendle Hill
After a quieter day letting everyone else do the big walks etc., I decided a quick Pendle walk would not be too difficult.
Black Moss Reservoirs
I parked by the roadside and started walking at 19:45hrs and opted for the sloping track route to the summit plateau.
Boundary Mill, Colne
St.Mary's Church, Nelson
It was very windy on top of Pendle Hill, so I sat in a slightly sheltered spot and did a bit of zooming. Above church has been closed an unused for nearly a quarter of a century.
Stanley Mill and St.Andrew's Church, Burnley
St.Peter's Centre, Burnley
St.Peter's Centre is the tall building, left of centre. The Kierby Hotel is to the right, Sainsbury's roof in the lower part of the photo.
