Probably the best afternoon of the week and it's a 15:30 start from the roadside.

First greeting was to Neil McIntosh, business friend for many years. You just never know who you might bump into...

A correspondent went up yesterday and sent in the photo on the right. Today, the cloud is still above Pendle, but yesterday it was down to about 1200ft asl and made the walk very dull indeed, so I'm told.
Barley
Well not a great time for views out west, but always a good walk, whatever the weather.
Walkers: Just Me.
Time taken: 55 mins over a distance of 2.5 miles.
Route: Roadside, up The Steps, along the top and down The Track.
Weather and conditions: Cloudy over Pendle, sunny intervals all around the areas away from The Hill.
Greetings Count: Neil and Mrs. then two more walkers and two runners, not too busy today.
