Pendle walk direct from Barley
The walk started at 18:55 hrs from Barley car park. Officially the car park is locked at 21:00hrs, so I have two hours and five minutes in which to enjoy myself. Somewhat unusual for me to take the direct route from Barley to Pendle Hill.
R's
The lambing season is in full flow. Later, I saw a newborn with mum and all the messy goo. No photos, but great to see the little 'un try to stand up and mum licking her clean.
Black Moss Reservoirs
From the half-way point on the steps. The shadow is shown between the reservoirs.

Runners on Pendle
After a relatively quiet ascent, imagine my angst when I saw this lot! Fortunately, they soon ran off.
Pendle Hill Summit
Fab! I always think a few clouds are better than none.
Malvern Mill, Nelson
In the centre of the photo is Malvern Mill, new home for Sportex Clothing. They were neighbours of ours at Stanley Mill, Burnley before buying their own place. I told them they have a great view from their office and this is the view the other way. And again without the pointer.
